Beethoven: the dog who changed everything

Amy’s story began in Yorkshire, surrounded by her family Labradors and a love for animals and the outdoors. Years later, living in London, she met Beethoven, a Labrador who transformed her life during her darkest days. His unwavering love and support helped her rediscover herself, teaching Amy the true meaning of the human-dog bond. Inspired by this, she left London for the peaceful Cotswolds, embarking on a new chapter of countryside living.

Amy and Beethoven’s move to the Cotswolds marked the fulfilment of a dream. They were soon joined by a second Labrador, Bernard, and embraced the joys of rural life. For Amy, leaving the city brought peace and a sense of belonging in a vibrant community. As she settled in, Amy noticed a gap in quality dog care—especially for dogs like Beethoven, who needed extra attention due to glaucoma. She wanted a place where dogs would feel safe, loved, and understood.

Motivated by her love for Beethoven and Bernard, Amy founded Woofwolds—a haven where dogs are cared for as cherished individuals. At Woofwolds, each dog gets personalised attention, with dedicated caretakers who understand their quirks, needs, and personalities. Amy’s vision ensures dogs thrive in a warm, reliable environment while giving owners peace of mind. Woofwolds isn’t just a service—it’s a celebration of the unique bond between dogs and their humans.
